Interview with Csilla, the dreamer of BonbonArts

On the joy of chocolate and the passion for creation

Reporter: Csilla, where does your passion for chocolate come from?

Csilla: Well, it’s a long story! I’ve always loved playing with flavors, creating, and creating something unique. But when I first tasted a really high-quality chocolate, I was completely enchanted. I realized that it’s much more than a sweet: it’s an experience, a feeling, a moment of happiness!

Reporter: What does the creative process mean to you?

Csilla: This is one of the most exciting parts of it all! When I come up with a new flavor, a new design, I get completely immersed in it. I see people smiling with satisfaction when they taste my bonbons. For me, it’s a kind of art, where chocolate is my canvas and flavors are the brushstrokes.

Reporter: What goal have you set for yourself?

Csilla: My greatest desire is to bring a smile to people's faces through my chocolates. But I also have an even bigger dream: I want the next generation to grow up eating healthy sweets. To do this, I first have to seduce parents with my sweets, since they are the ones who give their children their first taste experiences.

Reporter: Does that mean that your sweets are healthy, but you don't emphasize that?

Csilla: Exactly! People often have prejudices about "healthy" sweets. They think that if something is healthy, it must not be delicious. That's why my goal is not to promote healthiness first, but to seduce them with the sight and taste of my products. Then, when they have fallen in love with it, the "surprise" can come: did you know that what you are eating now is actually good for your body too?

Reporter: If someone is hearing about your sweets for the first time, what message would you give them?

Csilla: To taste it and let it enchant you! If you love chocolate, if you love experiences, you will surely find a bonbon that speaks to your heart (or rather, your taste buds)! And of course, smile a lot, because sweetness and joy go hand in hand!

Reporter: What inspires you the most when creating a new bonbon?

Csilla: Nature and the seasons! I love seasonal fruits and flavors that are tied to a specific time of year. For example, in spring, fresh strawberries and rhubarb inspire me, while in winter, orange-spice combinations enchant me. Inspiration can come from anywhere, from a scent, a memory, or even a flavor discovered during a trip.

Reporter: What kind of feedback motivates you the most?

Csilla: The greatest happiness for me is when someone genuinely smiles after a bite of a bonbon and says: "This is wonderful!" It also means a lot when a customer comes back and says that my chocolate has become a part of their holidays or everyday life. That's when I really feel that what I do creates value.

Reporter: If you could tell future chocolate lovers one thing, what would it be?

Csilla: That they should dare to experiment and enjoy the flavors! Don't get stuck with the usual chocolates, but discover new textures and combinations. Chocolate is a magical world that always holds surprises!
